Who is "us"? I think you should avoid trying to bring everyone here down to your
level. You can call me Mr. Albert Silver Sir BTW.

I bet you're wrong.

You are mistaken. I'd have to be some kind of jerk to show my face here and
speak with the hardworking programmers whilst stealing their work (not to
mention shooting myself in the foot). I have been buying all my chess programs
since Chessmaster 2000 (plus CM3k, CM4k, and CM8k for the PC) for the Apple II.
I remember that one well: I ate very little for over two weeks (it came out of
my lunch money) in order to buy that baby. You wouldn't believe the prices of
software in France back then. To give you an idea, a box of 10 floppies (normal
brand) went for 350 FF or about US$60. I also bought all the Mchess series from
the original Mchess 1.67 ($150!!) to Mchess Pro 7.1 (I missed MCP8), Chessbase
4, 7, 8 (actually, I swapped for CB8), Hiarcs 6 and 7.32, Fritz 5.16, F5.32, F6,
Junior 5 and 6, Chess Assistant 3 and 4 (after that I didn't need to buy them
obviously), Rebel 6 (sort of - it came bundled with the Kasparov PC board) 8, 9,
and 10 (in theory I'm holding out for a Windows Rebel, but I may make an
exception for Century 4), Genius 3, 3.5 and 6, ALL the CD versions of CB
Magazine (I think Friedel does a great job), and many more, but that's all that
comes to mind off the top of my head. No need to be a saint to do the right
thing. You like the programs? Then support the industry instead of stealing from
it. It's tough with jokers like yourself thinking they are entitled to other
people's work for free.
