The difference Deep Fritz to Crafty 17.07 is 166 elo, so your result of +160 elo is not unusual or surprising. In the direct SSDF matches against these 2 Fritz Crafty 17.07 achieved: Crafty 17.07/CB 128MB K6-2 450 MHz, 2488 Opponent Result DpFritz K6450 11½-31½ = 26,7% Fritz6 K6-450 18-24 = 42,9% (!)
