sorry. but i don't understand your critics. in the tournament we have old, well
known programs like wchess, genius, even socrates and mchess.
we have winboard programs: zarkov, crafty, goliath, pharaon, yace ...
we have strongest and latest programs, nimzo8, fritz7, century, shredder,
gambit-tiger, junior...
and we have classic and standard programs that should never be forgotten,
cstal, comet, patzer, chessmaster, gandalf.

all these programs play surprising chess.
each round has its own surprise.
many interesting information has been played out. we see them rank in a long and
fair tournament.

even to me, there have been plenty of things i would have never expected.
e.g. in the last rounds crafty surprised me. it seems this new crafty is very
strong.
we will see how this ends.

i got all my expectations fullfilled. of course, this whole tournament
costs time, power and energy.
but - from my point of view, and i am doing those kind of tournaments, for a
long time, its worth the work.

i do the tournament for my own pleasure. and i like the idea that professional
chess players replay and comment the games.

i like to replay the games i have seen on my own, and like to read the comments
of the strong chess players. and i do hope the programmers of the programs who
participate do enjoy this too.
