Subject: PocketGrandmaster 1.1 released

Hi,

PocketGrandmaster 1.1, the first non-beta version, is now available at

http://www.pocketgrandmaster.com

Installationfiles are available for PocketPCs with StrongARM-
processor (e.g. iPAQ) and Windows CE 3.0/PocketPC 2002.
(And also for MIPS- and SH3-devices, but only for testing and
without support.)

The chessengine is based on the WMCC-version of GromitChess (3.9.5)
which won the amateur-title at the WMCC 2001 in Maastricht.
The new userinterface of PocketGrandmaster offers all important
features (pondering, various levels, reading/writing/searching in
.pgn databases, set up position,...), two board-layouts and a
helpfile which describes all dialogs. It is very easy to use
and moves can be entered drag&drop or by just "one tap" if only
one legal move to or from the tapped square is possible.
The openingbook has 200,000 moves.

PocketGrandmaster is shareware and some features are limited in
the unregistered version.

Frank, Kai

If you test PocketGrandmaster on a MIPS- or SH3-device, please
let us know if it works/doesn't work
