Hi, my "word" party is not so 100%ig right :-) but it is important that the programmer get a lot of impressions. Maybe he can try in the future to added difference options. Also important that "we" found errors and tested all 120 free WinBoard engines and all 3 free :-) UCI engines. Thanks Roy ... All which have interest and "time" for testing are welcome. Maybe we have next years a really nice and free GUI for UCI and WinBoard. So far: Ponder mode in UCI is not working, programmer have not added this options. So not all is perfect and the programmer need help and time. But what I saw is enough to say ... great and come time comes ideas and ... NEW VERSIONS :-) I thinking in the night about the detail pages by Thomas Mayer. User can hear the hymne of the countrys. Maybe you start an engine-engine match which 1 minute for a game and after the two hymnen the next two hymnen are starting. So Winboarders are standing at home for the PC with the hand on the brain in long time position :-)) Hey, only a joke in my bad English. OK, OK we have WinBoard, Scid and other interesting software but I believe "we" can not have enough GUIs and engines for free. It is a wonderful time for computer chess. So many interesting programs, so many programmers witch spend time for other interesting people to give information in mails and chess fora, I like this. I believe the idea to made a beta test in a chess fora is good, because people all over the World can see what other people wrote. The programmer must only look on one board. Better as compare beta testers which must write mails. My interest on this project is to write the German help files and to test AnMon and Gandalf, I believe I am a Gaviota fan (I play blitz games against Gaviota) ... against each others ... :-) Best Frank
