If 1000 games show Fritz 7 is 2390 ELO with my book, and 2670 ELO with Chessbase's book, what is Fritz's rating? I would venture to say that Kasparov could keep his rating within 100 points no matter what opening he played. (Within reason. Standard, accepted openings.)
