I understand that the Athlon 1900+ seems to be better for Chess Programs than the Pent 4 2.0 gig, and that the Athlon is outperforming the Pent, but I have also heard that in some cases, certain chessbase features do not work properly with the Athlons. I have also heard that the chessbase programs are written with instructions exactly with the Pentiums in mind and not the Athlons. In some cases there were functions that did not work properly with the Athlon, but when the Pentiem processor was taken out and an Athlon was put in it's place, the Chessbase feature which was having trouble worked just fine. Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.
