There is _no_ "learn.bin" in crafty. When you "import" a file, crafty can tell whether it is book learning or position learning and it will update the correct file (book.bin or position.bin) accordingly... And yes, book.bin and position.bin and book.lrn and position.lrn get written to during a game. the .lrn files are _never_ read unless you explicitly import them... the data is _already_ in the .bin files.. > >**I am not talking about CB but what I see in the "crafty" dir along with the >crafty.exe...**
