Some "bugs" have then vanished. >Kurt OK, I have un-installed everything associated with Chessbase including all older versions of Fritz, Hiarcs, ect. I also un-installed Fritz 7 and then re-installed it. I only have Fritz 7 installed on my PC now and I still have the same problem. Everything else works fine including, audio talk chatter, board sounds, and move announcements. Just not "text chatter"!? I have a P4 Intel machine with Windows XP operating system. Can only think there may be a suttle bug with this config or some other conflict somewhere.
