If you want particulars, find out the M/B they are using, and it's parameters. I just got an Athlon 1900 with the MSI M/B and 512M DDR. It is not as fast as the DDR used by the P4 2GHZ, but despite this, it outperforms the P4's (I tested 3 brand names) on chess, easily. It is not a "brand" name, however. Be sure your case has adequate cooling. The Athlon needs lots of cool air! Dave
