I have been watching the progress of the program Leila for some time now. I observed this game on FICS last night. Although Leila lost the game, it was a longer time control game which is really odd for ICS play. The opponent Azkikr(C) is a Crafty clone on rather weak hardware. I believe it was a Celeron 533. Leila was on an Athlon T-Bird @ 1 Ghz if I remember correctly. Crafty played this game very well with the black side. This game was a 120 30 game which like I said was odd for an ICS game. I rather liked the longer time control. Previous to this game these two played 3 other game at 15 3 time control where Leila won one game. Where in this game exactly did Leila go wrong. Neither were kibitzing any information. Azkikr(C) did however kibitz mate in all the games including one game where it was mate in 31.
