I tried with Gerrit Reubold's Bringer on Athlon1333. It was quite fast with the
fail high on 1. g4 - 7 minutes. But it definitely took some time to resolve it.
I stopped the analysis after 5 hours.

0:02:46.7 (17/48) 84432574 -0.02 1.Ke3 g4 2.Kd4 Kd7 3.c6+ Kc8 4.b5 Kb8 5.b6
cxb6 6.Kc4 (Mat=-100,50=1) (TB=21095)
0:07:06.1 (17/51) 206499894 -0.01 1.g4 (Mat=0,50=0) (TB=32910)
1:47:10.1 (17/53) 4219447369 0.49 1.g4 (Mat=0,50=0) (TB=38326)
2:20:23.0 (18/55) 5283958678 0.89 1.g4 (Mat=0,50=0) (TB=71567)
4:11:08.6 (18/55) 9933386240 1.29 1.g4 (Mat=0,50=0) (TB=79150)

Genius 5 is quite good in this position. On a PIII1200 it took 4 minutes to fail
high on 1. g4 at ply 15 and after 10 minutes it was up to more than +3 .
