Hi Mike,
I know about Chessfun's page. Some of the custom settings there were ones I
devised (Octopus, Titan, Fortress, Omega - maybe a few others - not sure from
memory).
I've tried The Fun and Utzinger settings also. The main difficulty in finding
the best settings is in the fact that some perform well at certain time controls
but not others. Looking for the most consistent settings across the whole range
of time controls is the key and I'm still working on it. Once I've done that I
need to see how results against programs like Shredder,Fritz and company compare
with previous efforts.
