Hi,
Just found this message board today, looks great!
Was wondering what you think about using chessmaster 8000.
Got it for my son (age 6) for x-mas. Ok it was for me to, but anyway I read
about the kids room it has and thought it would be great for him.

He learned how to play chess last summer when he was 5 and i have been using
chess puzzle book and playing games with him. He loved doing the chess puzzles
from the books. I would set up the board from the book and he would solve the
mate.

Then I found ICC trainingbot. Wow, even better. Now he can sit at the computer
and do puzzle after puzzle with out my help at all.
Know he has chessmaster 8000 and is doing all the kids room things on it.

Anyone else using chessmaster to help with there kids chess game?

Anyone that works with teaching chess to kids have any advice for me in what I
am doing right or wronge in teaching my son?

Looking forward to hearing some good advice.

Thanks,
 Happy New Year!
