Black is clearly better Note that both machines cannot see simple tactics and I mean tactics that most 2000 players are going to see at game/30 40.Rg8 is losing the knight when 40...c5 is a mistake when Ra2 is winning the knight My program finds Ra2 after 7395 nodes at depth 4 and has no problem to see a winning score at depth 5. Interesting to say that the main line of my program at depth 4 when it does not see a winning score for black is Ra2 Rg7+ Kf8 Rf7+ Kxf7 Rxa2 I guess that mate extensions for the right cases may prevent this horizon effect Uri
