All I can say is that it is possible. Ubi Soft is well-known for translating
many of their programs into many different languages. However, translating
Chessmaster is a MASSIVE job, even if you only translate the text and leave the
audio in English. The amount of text in the program is equivalent to about three
paperback novels. There is also about 40 hours of audio.

In just about every case of attempting to fully translate Chessmaster, the
amount of sales did not justify the cost. However, with Ubi Soft at the helm
now, I would say that there is a better chance than ever of seeing Chessmaster
in a non-English language.
