Apparently not. I got two more. Here is the basic deal.

They sent me a barrage of emails yesterday asking me if I would send them a copy
of Ferret that played according to their variant, and offering to pay me if I'd
do it. They also asked me for information about several 6-man endings.

I politely declined to do this work for them, and told them that if they could
program, they could modify Crafty to play this variant very easily.

Their response was to ask me how much I'd charge, they asked me a bunch of
questions, and they gave me some specifications for their project. They told me
that they were going to stick with me: "u r our programmer".

I replied that I wasn't interested in doing the work at this time.

Their response was to ask me when I'd do it (two emails on this topic), they
gave me some more specifications, they insisted that I answer their endgame
questions, and they wanted to talk about how much I was going to charge them for
the work. Having made myself clear, I felt, I did not respond to these emails,
preferring instead to spend the day watching football on TV.

Seven hours later I got a nice insulting email calling me a moron and an idiot,
and telling me they'd hired someone else for a price they apparently thought was
pretty enormous.

I hope the guy they hired demands to get paid up front.
