I'd add that one possible workaround is to selectively disable global
optimization. You can do this by setting custom optimization settings for the
module that is causing this problem, or at a finer-grain level by including:
#pragma optimize("g",off)
...
#pragma optimize("g",on)
in your code. If you look in the Arasan source code you will see quite a few of
these pragmas.
