Regards,>>>>Mike The pentium4 is known as not good for chess and I guess that athlon1700 is faster than pentium4 2 gig I also read that Deep Fritz does not earn much from more than one processor. I do not have Fritz7 or Shredder6 and my opinion is based on the posts that I read. Today I have only one correspondence game when the position is a forced mate so I did not buy something from Fritz7,shredder6,Gandalf5,Century4. I guess that Fritz7 is better than Deep Fritz on a dual but I am not sure about the future and it is possible that chessbase comes with Deep Fritz7 that will be the same engine as Fritz7 except being faster thanks to the dual. You can also use Dual for other programs like Junior. I guess that Fritz7a on a single is today the best thing that you can buy for chess if you do not consider more than 2 processors but the situation may be changed in the next monthes. Uri
