If I am not mistaken, the Fritz 6a upgrade was the upgrade that was given to Fritz6 owners thru a URL given to from a Chessbase email. Along with the URL, a password was also given, which would be used when you opened up the newly downloaded upgrade. Then you'd go into that address and it would give you a download option and you would download the upgrade. The same type of upgrade was used with the Junior6 and Deep Junior6 program. Fritz 6e is the downloadable upgrade that you can get off of the Chessbase.com site after clicking the download button. Then Fritz6 upgrade. I don't know if I still have a copy of the Address, nor do I know if it is still available for download. If I can find it, I will mention it.
