Paste Special... with the Unformatted Text option doesn't help on my machine - I think that it amounts to the same thing as paste in this case because the only option available in the dialog is Unformatted Text. (I think that the clipboard contains unformatted text.) There may be another setting buried somewhere which would help, but I couldn't find it.
