In my case my program ran little slowlier. I have not the result here (in my office) but remember that the success (help to cut off) of second best moves is only around 1/6 of first best moves. It means program wastes more time for saving, loading, checking than getting benefit. Other development: someone reported that he saved part of PV (2 - 5 moves) into hash but result was not good.
