This tournament has become more interesting than the WMCCC. I really like the momentum it is achieving. The best part is that people who cannot afford to fly all over the world can still participate. IMO, it has become the most important computer chess tournament as well. With a field this large, you get better data as to who really is the best with less chances for probability to cause a fluke. Because of the swiss format, you only know the best and the worst, with very little information about places 2 through n-1, but it does save a lot of time over round-robin. Congratulations to the orgainizers and participants.
