You are underestimating the power of the human mind. IMO, a reasonably strong
human could find a safe winning exchange for example. Those positions happen in
every tournament. And some top programs have blown tournament wins that way. A
FM would suffice if you trust him. Lame counterexample countered.

Why not save your efforts to a few important events?! CCT is not that important

Wishful thinking on your part, IMO. You kow that everyone isn't an early
adopter. If on the other hand the CCT tornaments where scheduled events. And a
well published, critcised and well understood set of rules where avilable. I
would have less understanding of absenteeism. The current Ad-Hoc style makes the
tounament feel like an annoyance. Sweet annoyance, but still...
