"11 YEAR OLD DAVID HOWELL FROM SEAFORD BEATS CHESS GRANDMASTER AT HASTINGS All eyes were on 11 Year old David Howell from Seaford East Sussex today who caused something of a sensation in Round 6 of the Challengers open tournament at Hastings by beating Scottish Grandmaster Colin McNab in 41 moves. David who plays for Crowborough Chess Club in Sussex and Ashtead Chess Club in Surrey came 2= in the World Under-12 Championships in Spain and won a bronze medal 1= in the European U12 Championships in Greece. After 6 rounds David has 4 points with 4 rounds left to play." Sure young David wouldn't have developed this quick without training vs chess programs...;-) Sune
