does anyone know this Sergei Smith? I know that there are people that like to play jokes with the regulars here, some guys find it entertaining to mess with our minds. i have learned that there are people that like to make fun of anyone that is passionate. it seems that this guys software is corrupted, or he is getting a big laugh out of his post. also it seemed that Uri made a negative comment about a program in this tournament. i wasnt sure if that comment was because of this guys results. if it was because of this tournament, then it seems we have to be careful of some of these tournament results. this one was way off. I noticed in Sergei's tournament that his comp vs comp games did not have very many moves. most tournaments posted here with 60 minute time control have long games. because i knew this was not the norm for todays top programs, i checked some of the games. i will post two blunders. i did not check any more games after finding these problems. if you find more problems in his games please post. also, in most of these games, when i would follow the posted moves, using the same program he used, the think time was very short for each move. examples of move times below. i know that some programs will move fast if the expected move is played----but that is not the issue here. these moves were made in seconds, and too many for this time control.
