There are 12 physically distinct maxDTM KPPKP positions. They are in 6 equivalence classes of 2 each c/o the a-h symmetry transformation. I haven't seen the Shredder endgame facilities, so I don't know why Shredder is giving physically-distinct, as opposed to logically-distinct, positions. G
