They both have books in chessbase format, but the quality of those are not
optimal, whereas the Junior 7 and Fritz 7 books are handtuned by experts, and of
very high quality and therefore i use those two books for my testing, since they
are supposed to be the best CB books.
Anyway, as long as the engines come out of book about equal +0.40 -0.40 (within
that range) it should be a fair way of judging the results based on those games,
since the engines have to think for themselves when out of book.
I personally don't think that books have that big of an influence on the results
as long as then engines don't come out of book down a pawn or two, and this is
not the case in any of the Shredder6 v Junior 7 games, so i see no problem
there.
