For example 1.Re4 dxe4+ 2.Kg2 Bf7 3.exf7 Qxc5 4.f8=Q+ Qxf8 5.f7+ Qg7+ and even though this interposition is with check and so prevents an immediate 6.f8=Q+, it still loses 6.Kh3 and the annihilating 7.f8=Q+ is unstoppable.
