Hi, i played good game today. i analyzed it with programs they don't understand of course next: Diepeveen, V - Lahaye, Rick (2177 FIDE) position: white Kc2,Re1,Bb7,a2,b4,c3,g2,h3 black Kf8,Rg8,Ne5,a7,f4,f6,f7,h4 Diep says white up 1.0 pawns. I considered this ++-- so +5.0 is better idea here. I saw here real easy thing which i executed i see at my notation form directly. I had plenty of time here (half an hour for 16 moves till time control at move 40). Of course i played 25.a4 here. DIEP doesn't consider the plan amazingly. 25.a4 Rg3 here i get after long thought b5 score 0.2 up for white only. of course i do without EGTBs here. 26.a5 f3 27.Bxf3 Nxf3 28.gxf3 and now my young opponent needed real long time to realize that white is blindfolded won here. After 15 minutes thought game was decided: 28..Rxf3 29.a6! though this is easy move again computer doesn't consider it. 29..Rxh3 30.b5 Rh2+ 31.Kb3 Rd2 32.c4 h3 33.c5 h2 34.b6 ab 35.a7 and when i played it Rick resigned. He didn't want to analyze game this teenager, with such mentality of course that's going to get nothing in future. I played good game. Amazingly scores during the real simple technical win from white are not so high for white. Of course DIEP using nullmove and no EGTBs here and single cpu 800 P3, but try your own programs here and see whether it considers this shortest win for white! Remember. I'm 2312 FIDE. I prefer a blindfolded easy rook endgame win like everyone, over a hard rook+bishop vs rook+knight endgame where all kind of checks or ways to run faster with pawns are asking for horizon mistakes or simple plain blunders. This and only this is the only sound way to win the game. All others are tactical computer moves. You sure want your computer to play the above moves to win the game!
