The clock-rate with its new 0.13-micron Northwood core might make a difference and elevate the integer performance of older P4's. SPECint2000 (especially 186.crafty) benchmarks should be out soon. The 512 L2 cache will help. From systems running without "over clocking", the "official" leader in integer performance, which is relevant to chess engines, is (as of 01/05/02): Epox 8KHA+ Motherboard, AMD Athlon XP 1900+ with 942 (base) and 942 (peak) (see 186.crafty of SPECCPU 2000 at http://www.spec.org).
