I suspect but not sure that both engines may play better.

Yace is not a native engine of Junior7
I downloaded Crafty18.12 as a native engine from the chessbase site but today I
can find there only Crafty18.10.

I suspect that Yace can play better under fair conditions when it does not use
the chessbase GUI when it is possible that Crafty18.10 works better with the
chessbase GUI relative to Crafty18.12(otherwise I see no reason for chessbase to
remove Crafty18.12 and put Crafty18.10).

I do not know the reason that chessbase put today Crafty18.10 on the chessbase
site and not Crafty18.12

The reason may be one of the following:
1)The people of chessbase believe that Crafty18.10 is better than Crafty18.12
2)There is a bug in the implementation of Crafty18.12 under chessbase GUI
