If you are thinking of buying their

I disagree here.
Chessbase is a good company and there is a simple way to know when their product
is ready if you are interested only in buying an engine with no significant
bugs.
Their product is ready when the ssdf test it.
Chessbase did not give the ssdf to test Fritz7a.
