Hi Luis,

I recently put all my chess software on a new Athlon 1900 512MB - my old, but
much loved and not redundant notebook was just a Pentium 300MHz with 64MB RAM.
Fritz went from a typical mid-game 200-250 kns on my old to 900-1000 kns on my
new!

ChessMaster 8k, the beared-one, is now 2869 on the new, I think it was about
2700 on my notebook. All the personalities ratings have increased likewise and
whereas before I could quite happily beat personalities like Dobie, Sam and Josh
- Age 12, I'm now having some difficulty!

One thing I have noticed is that Josh, whatever the age, never changes his
ratings, so now that Sam and Wally have leap-frogged him in the ratings ladder.

Bests

Matthew
