Since your friend is a "shut-in" I suggest you get him a copy of Chessmaster 8000 -- available all over the place -- and a copy of Blitzin, which will allow him to access the Internet Chess Club (http://www.chessclub.com). Blitzin is free, but must be downloaded from the ICC site. At ICC, he can play against humans and possibly make a friend or two, if that's important. I'm assuming he has a fairly up-to-date Windows computer AND Net access? Better check. If he doesn't have a Net connection, by all means encourage him to get one! Feel free to e-mail me on this, if you like. Another choice is Fritz 7, which has fun features and will also connect to ICC -- if I understand the ad correctly. You can order Fritz from the Your Move online store. On January 06, 2002 at 23:50:32, jennifer lawrence wrote: >Hi, >I hope someone here can help.
