From other posts, I guess that Junior has a flaw in the mate scoring.

Gaviota struggles with this one, finds correct mate in 14 in about 6 minutes
in a P IV 1.4 Ghz.
Branching factor is horrible, sounds like some extensions blew out of proportion
at one point.
