Nothing strange
I remember that Shredder2 could find it.

the fact that programs find it suggest that they
do too much extensions and they can be slower in more practical
positions.

I guess that they extend by almost a full ply every move that
is one of the following:
1)only reply to check
2)the previous move.

I guess that this extension is counterproductive if it is used
in this way.
