i hope you are right as i too am an amd fan. i was merely correlating my
observations from what p4 and amd owners on this web site had posted in terms of
fritz and tiger marks and compared the hardware reviews and found that these
office productivity correlated best with chess performance. i noted that the old
willamette 2.0 showed rough equivalence with an amd 1.33.

we'll only know for sure after the actual benchmarks are up
