Who is they? And if your design is so good, why isn't your program near the best
ones?

You are too naive if you believe that designs exists that has only advantages
and no drawbacks, and that you have found such a design. You might have a design
where somethings are easy and take little time, but that means that some other
thing will take long, or that maintaining your datastructures will be slower
than for other designs.
