Terry,

Thanks for the suggestions.  I'm running Linux and crafty as well
as Yace both recognize the tablebases, so I believe the files are OK.
I still think I have something set oddly in my code.  I've got some
free time today so hopefully I'll debug this soon.  If the answer is
anything worth sharing I'll let everyone know what was wrong.
