Anyway, with that info in my Palm I don't need to physically have the cards present when I'm at the computer. (Of course, the cards are mine, not my mother's!) The database also holds all my web site usernames & passwords (including CCC's), and other such info. The info gets synchronized to/from my PC, which also allows access to the data (with password). This is one of the best bits of organization I've ever forced myself to do. I highly recommend it. There are many competing apps for the Palm and PC that do this type of thing. A second thought: here in the US, I would never think of buying the various chess apps from their makers. I'd go to ICD or another retailer whose whole business is to satisfy customers by shipping stuff in a timely fashion. Over dozens of purchases, they've always shipped the same day I called and ordered (or at worst the next day if I called too late). I don't know if such quick retailers are as readily available to/in other countries. >As a way of giving myself a Christmas present, I decided >to refresh my collection of Chessprograms a little.
