What are the alternatives for keeping a variety of sensitive data with you at all times? Keeping the credit cards physically in your wallet is a lot less secure than keeping their data encrypted on your Palm. And I just can't memorize every last bit of information I might need. Since you're a lot younger, maybe you can! ;-) By the way, if your credit card number is stolen, your legal limit of liability is $50 per card (at least in the US), and most credit cards won't make you pay a cent.
