I've never heard of a Yay snake.
"Yay" is similar to Hooray.
"Yay team" is what you yell from the crowd when your team scores in a game.

Onya: from "Good on You" meaning "well done" with "thankyou" connotations
included.

Lex: I have sucessfully ported this chess program for your benefit.
Aussie: Onya Mate, I have successfully drunk this beer.
Lex: May I have a beer also then?
Aussie: No mate, how about porting the database now?

Mourn not for me.
I will retain my Century4DOS for database usage until I am forced to give up my
Windows '98. Unless Windows2008 allows me to keep running Century4DOS!

I suppose I will eventually have to move to Chess Assistant or similar.
