If opponent didn't do the expected move it send the engine the a new game with this new move and let the engine think on this position. With newer adapter than the one from nov.2000 this hard+easy command is 'buggy' so be sure to use the adapter from Chessbase's site. There have also been opserved that the move CB send the engine as 'ponder' move isn't allways the from the last pv-line. As you can see this would let (weaker) engines that have not any ponder feature play a little better but top engines that would like to take care of this themself isn't allowed to do that. It will also heart the engine a little if the opponent use longer time to make the expected move. Odd Gunnar (PS. I have only tested this with demo version of Fritz 6)
