Subject: memory protection

Hi,

another question from this low-level illiterate :)

Under win2000pro and under winXPHome, how well is the memory protected ? Because
sometimes when I test my program against other engines the other engines or
winboard crash. I wonder whether my program can cause that, and how likely it
is.
