Vassily Smythov was a Contemparary of these fellows you mention, He is a very old man today, yet Century1 was unable to defeat him in the Grandmaster Challenge, infact he had the superior position all game, ofcourse Smthov is a Paltzer compared to Alekhine and Capa.
