It is not the introduction of the Star Sapphire and Star Diamond that surprises me. What does surprise me is that all the 32K RISC programs seem have all been removed (ie Turquoise, Emerald Classic Plus, Amber, etc). I wasn't aware that Novag had plans to consolidate their range to this extent, but looking at their comparison charts, it seems to be true. Does this reflect the market? Are dedicated machines around 2000 Swedish ELO just not selling? There now seems to be a huge gap in their range, as my experience with their 16K programs suggests there will be around a 700 - 800 ELO ratings gap between the two classes of machines they will now sell.
