Hi Jim
Your experiment is great and confirmed my impression: the Shredder6 Classic book
is in no way better than the Shredder 6.32 book of ChessBase. And therefore
there is no reason to argue that one should have used Shredder 6 Classic to get
better results vs other computer programs.
In a running tournament on Ath 1.3/256 with 64 MB hash, time 40 moves/80 min,
Fritz6-GUI, ponder=off, Shredder 6.32 has taken last place so far:
