If you are referring to windows 2000 pro:

go to start,  settings,  control panel,  administrative tools,   event viewer.
under system log there should be a list of information.
if you do this after the same event you are refering to, then the last entry
will be your crash. right click the entry in this list that refers to your
error.  click properties. write down everything in this window.
(i suspect this is a reboot from a os "bugcheck")
e-mail me with the info and i will help. or take the info to the microsoft site
and match up your info with the available info at microsoft support.
