They were in good shape: Both CM8000 (from groups 1 and 3) are promoted to part two of the CSS-Masters tournament. In group 1, Tiger 14 didn't make it (scoring 0.5 points less than CM8000). In group 3, the last match in this group CM8000 vs. Gandalf will decide, if Crafty 18.12 (6 out of 10) or Gandalf 4.32h (currently 5 out of 8) will be promoted. The second of their 2 games is scheduled for Sun., 11:00 N.Y. time (the first game was Sat. 13:00 but I do not know the result yet). http://www.vrichey.de/css2/index3.html Shredder 6 achieved 5 points in this group which is not enough to qualify, also in group 2 it looks like Deep Shredder 6 will promote neither. Here, the match between Hiarcs 7.32 and Gambit Tiger 2 will decide which of these two will be 3rd, on Monday and Tuesday. Both (Deep-)Fritz and Juniors qualified already. In part two of this event, two groups with 4 programs each will play a double round robin. Regards, M.Scheidl
